For 35 years, La Luz Center has served as a lifeline for our clients who need resources, connections, and hope. Thanks to you and your ongoing support, we have been able to achieve this in the face of a multitude of external forces: Devastating wildfires, the current pandemic, and subsequent economic shutdown. One thing remains true: La Luz shines brightest when we stand with our community.

As we entered 2020, we could not have imagined we were approaching the biggest crisis to date, the coronavirus outbreak. Lives were upended in a matter of days, and those already living on the margins have suffered the most. Our work doubled overnight. To date, we have served more individuals than we typically do in a full year. We have ensured that almost 800 families can meet their basic needs, have food on their table, and stable housing. We have fueled our local economy by connecting unemployed workers with more than 200 jobs and have helped protect the health of more than 5,000 individuals by providing personal protective equipment. We've retooled, reimagined, and remained flexible in our programs and delivery of vital support and services.

This is what we do, and with your help, we will continue to do for another 35 years. Please join us as we work together to change lives. From addressing growing COVID-19 support needs in Sonoma Valley, to ensuring everyone has an emergency preparedness backpack, your end-of-year donation to La Luz will be thoughtfully and strategically invested to strengthen the diversity, vitality, and resilience of our Sonoma Valley community.

Together, we are making a difference, and we are so very grateful for your support.
